Please Welcome Jonathan

Greetings from a colorful Camp New Hope!  We are surrounded by a curtain of beautiful fall colors and we would like for you to meet our camper for this week.  His name is Jonathan and he is 9 years old.  Jonathan has a rare mitochondrial disorder called Leigh's Disease, several co-morbid conditions including seizure disorder, developmental delay, cerebral palsy and scoliosis.  He is fed by a g-tube and has asthma.  You can tell by his bright orange blanket that Jonathan is really getting into the fall season.  He is here from Alabama this week with his family and his grandparents drove down from New York to be with him so we have 10 campers in the lodge this week.  It makes us all so happy to get to see the entire family here with Jonathan.

Please remember this family in your prayers as well as the camp.  Without your prayers and continued support of the camp we would not be able to do what we do. Come visit us when you can.  Thank you to Will and Mark Adkins for making the sacrifices needed to keep the camp operating.  My prayer is that God will bless you all for each and every act of kindness that you have shown and may he also bless those of you who whisper a prayer for us each day.

For the children,
