Greetings from a beautiful windy fall day at Camp New Hope!
It is our pleasure to welcome Jake back to camp!
Jake is 5 years old, and he comes to us from Jacksonville, Florida. As you can see Jake is a beautiful little boy with a wonderful large smile. What you cannot see is that Jake is blind and has Battens disease – a non treatable, non curable disease that unfortunately will end his life far too soon.
Jake is precious and I am smitten by him! He is here with his family for 7 nights. Next week Jake will be visiting a local riding stable where he will get the ride of his life. He loves riding the Kubota and to explore the many areas of our camps trails. Please remember to pray for these families as well as for the camp. Camp New Hope means so much to all of them, it gives them a place to play and relax without having to worry about the financial burden of a vacation. None of this would not be possible without your financial help and prayers. Thank you for all you do! My prayer is that God will bless you in the same way you have blessed us.
